Honored to Remember Our Medal of Honor Heroes

Medal of Honor“Selfless bravery.” “Undaunted courage.” “Above and beyond the call of duty.”

Since 1861 when the Congressional Medal of Honor was first created, such words of praise have been spoken by Presidents from Lincoln to today. Our nation’s highest military honor has been reserved for the very bravest, those who sacrificed in the face of grave danger, America’s greatest Armed Forces members.
