MISSION BBQ in Germantown, MD hosts Military Appreciation Night
MISSION BBQ is opening its 90th location in Germantown, MD on Monday, January 13, 2020. This location will be the 16th in Maryland for the restaurant known for its traditional American BBQ with a hefty side of patriotism.
For co-founders Bill Kraus and Steve Newton, the opening of another Maryland location brings the growth of MISSION BBQ full circle. “We remain proud and humble to serve yet another community in our home state,” states Kraus. “We never want to forget where we came from.” MISSION BBQ continues to expand throughout the eastern half of the United States with current plans to end 2019 with over 95 units of operation.
As is tradition with the opening of every MISSION BBQ, the Germantown location will host charity nights throughout the week leading up to the Grand Opening. An open to the public Military Appreciation Night will be held on Friday, January 24th from 6 to 9 pm with all sales donated to the USO of Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan. During this event only, the first 100 people to purchase an American Hero Cup will receive Free BBQ for a Year. Private Party events will also be held to support the local Fire and Police Charities in the Germantown Community.
