“It will be 19 years this December that he’s been gone. It still feels like yesterday,” said Debi Linck about the loss of her son, Henry. Army Staff Sgt. Henry Linck died in December 2006 while serving in Baghdad. “I brought my son up to believe in a lot of things; to believe in duty, honor, God and Country,” said Henry’s dad, Rick. Henry lived those values passed to him by his parents and they now share his story in hopes he will be remembered forever. “He joined the Army to defend this country,” said Rick “and he did his job.”
