After traveling our great country in search of the nation’s best BBQ, we felt inspired to bring this great food home. Especially for those who protect us all, the hard-workers who get it done every day, the home teams we cheer for, and of course, family and friends. Our mission is to serve you the most authentic, mouth-watering all-American food that’s done right.
Giving Back
Our young men and women in uniform. Veterans who served with honor. Our local Police, Firefighters and First Responders who make Our Community a better place to live. They’re the people we respect most of all, so MISSION BBQ tries to give back in return. From fundraisers to service projects, we have your back, donating over $47,000,000 supporting vital charities since opening our doors in 2011.
A Servant's Heart
Ellie brings the energy and excitement in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. Her passion for people shines through as she walks around Serving Our Customers and Our Teammates. ”Customers come in to find her,” said Operating Partner, Steve. “She doesn’t just wait on tables serving them food. She takes the time to get to know their stories,” added Dining Room Leader, Lisa. If Ellie gets a free moment to step away from the dining room, she heads straight to the back to check in with the Heart of House Teammates to ask if there is anything she can do for them. Ellie is the truest definition of a Servant’s Heart.
Stories of Service
“With grief, it keeps coming, it’s either the anger, the depression, the acceptance and you learn to walk with a limp the rest of your life,” said Gold Star Father, Charles Strange. “So my son, Petty Officer 1st Class Michael Strange was killed in action August 6, 2011 along with 29 other brave Americans, Bart the Warrior Dog and 8 Afghans.” Through his unimaginable grief, Charles found a new mission to help his fellow Gold Star Families heal by connecting and talking about their heroes. Charles proudly shares stories of Michael cutting weight to make the football team, tackling his fears to become the catcher on his baseball team and of the intense empathy he had for the people he encountered during his deployment. “He had a giant heart, always, for the underdog.”
