Our Mission
After traveling our great country in search of the nation’s best BBQ, we felt inspired to bring this great food home. Especially for those who protect us all, the hard-workers who get it done every day, the home teams we cheer for, and of course, family and friends. Our mission is to serve you the most authentic, mouth-watering all-American food that’s done right.
Giving Back
Our young men and women in uniform. Veterans who served with honor. Our local Police, Firefighters and First Responders who make Our Community a better place to live. They’re the people we respect most of all, so MISSION BBQ tries to give back in return. From fundraisers to service projects, we have your back, donating over $47,000,000 supporting vital charities since opening our doors in 2011.
A Servant's Heart
When Our Teammate, Maritza, lost her husband, Juan was there to support and encourage her through that incredibly difficult time. “He always told me ‘You are not alone.’ and that’s how he supported me a lot and I am very grateful to him,” said Maritza. Juan’s support of Maritza wasn’t a surprise to those around him. Others told stories about Juan stopping to help a woman stranded on the roadside change her flat tire, visiting a supplier at home when he broke his hip and even giving his own family’s Thanksgiving turkey and cash to a homeless person. “I tell him I don’t know how to repay him,” Maritza added, “because in those moments, not anyone is there to help you but he was there with me and I am very thankful to him.”
Stories of Service
Following his 1915 graduation from medical school, Dr. Frank Boston joined the US Army and served during World War I with the Army Medical Corps. While with the 92nd Division, he worked as a field surgeon during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, the largest battle of WWI, treating soldiers injured in the battle but also treating soldiers sickened by the global Spanish Flu pandemic. Dr. Boston returned to the US after the war, resumed his duties at Mercy Hospital in Philadelphia and started an ambulance corps, pioneering the EMS field. Dr. Boston battled racism at home and within the military, he battled the enemy and the Spanish Flu during WWI and he returned home to continue his life of service.
