It is a day to honor the men and women who serve Our United States Armed Forces. First celebrated on May 20, 1950, it was created to “express the unification of all military forces under one government.”
All across America, parades, air shows and “Support The Troops” motorcycle rides are held, while dedications and memorials recognize those who gave all.
At MISSION BBQ, it has been like “Veterans Day in May” ALL WEEK. Monday through Friday, we’ve been honoring active duty service members and veterans from every branch of the military with FREE sandwiches. All week long, each day was dedicated to either the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force or Coast Guard. Today, we are humbled to host an extra special event…
Lunch with The Heroes, 11AM-2PM Today!
For ALL who served Our Country past or present, please join us today and enjoy a free sandwich on us. We especially hope to see you at noon during a live rendition of our National Anthem performed at every MISSION BBQ location. Not a vet? Bring one, and join us all in our appreciation.
To all members of Our Armed Forces past and present, Thank You For Your Service.
