A True Servant's Heart
Our Teammates have many stories about how Juan has helped them as well as how he has helped others in Our Community. He has stopped on the roadside to help a woman change a flat tire and even gave away his own family’s Thanksgiving turkey and cash to a homeless person. Juan happily adjusts the schedule to support Our Teammate when childcare falls through and is always checking in on his people. When Our Teammate, Maritza, lost her husband, Juan was there to support. “He always told me ‘You are not alone.’ and that’s how he supported me a lot and I am very grateful to him,” said Maritza. “I tell him I don’t know how to repay him, because in those moments, not anyone is there to help you but he was there with me and I am very thankful to him.”
